Guess How Much Money the Fremont Bowl-a-thon Made?

A big thank-you to everyone who participated in our Fremont Bowl-a-thon last weekend! Not only was it a fun afternoon of bowling with friends and family, there was a hotly-anticipated raffle program (congratulations to Noah’s family, winners of the 4 tickets to Disneyland!) which made more than $450 dollars, and overall the event, put together by the Fremont Co-Op, made $1,677.28, which is six hundred dollars more than last year’s event.

This is a huge amount of money to Yikes Tikes! and will be used to pay for operating expenses, including our accountant, our grant-writing program, and promotional materials like our brochures and website.

We would like to send a big shout-out and thank-you to our lane sponsors and donors, including the Asteriadou Family, Anna Poklewski Academy of Music, Stevenson Surgery Center, Independent Eyewear Manufacturing, Tressa Williams of State Farm, Decorative Plumbing Distributors, Men’s Wearhouse, and East Bay Natural Medicine. Your support truly made our event possible.

Stay tuned to this blog for a report on this weekend’s Super Bowl-a-thon in Cupertino!
